If your pet’s microchip number starts with either 991 or 900164, then your pet has one of the Save This Life’s microchips.  If you need assistance verifying your pet’s microchip number, please email us at yourpetsvet@sgvet.com. Email correspondence helps to ensure microchip number accuracy.  Please allow our customer service team 24 hours to reply to emails.

Pet owners looking to transfer their Save This Life microchip enrollment can do so with HomeAgain at no charge.

For pet owners looking to transfer their pet’s Save This Life microchip enrollment to the HomeAgain database for free, use code EnrollSTL on homeagain.com or call 1-888-HOMEAGAIN (1-888-466-3242). Due to high call volumes, we expect some delays if calling in.

*Have your pet’s Save This Life microchip number handy and let the customer care agent know that you were referred by your veterinarian.

Once enrolled, your pet will have a lifetime enrollment in our HomeAgain database and 1 free year of our premium membership with added services. If you choose not to renew your premium membership benefits, your pet’s recovery information remains in the HomeAgain Recovery Database, and you can always maintain and update your profile and contact information at no charge.
